"Working for one of the largest mining operations in a state the size of Nevada, I am sure you can image when we talk about remote offices, we mean remote. Of course we keep a pretty standard corporate IT structure with a help desk and a full time staff of 5 that support our approximately 200 users. Our network is composed primarily of Dell desktops and Dell laptops with the majority of the units in the 2 to 3 year old range. With the systems getting older our need for remote out of warranty hardware support has started to pick up. It's actually the reason we first called Computer Service Now.
