Security: Intrusion Detection Systems
Keep a watchful eye on your network and individual devices.
Computer Service Now has highly trained technicians for any Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) project. An IDS monitors network activity and traffic.
The purpose of an IDS is to spot suspicious activity and will
in turn alert the system or network admin.
There are several types of
Intrusion Detection Systems. Some IDSs can simply monitor the network and report any suspicious activity (known as Passive IDS) while other IDSs will not only alert the system if malicious traffic is detected, but will take action by blocking users or source IP addresses from accessing the network or host device (known as Reactive IDS).
There are two types of IDS, there are host based IDS and there are network based IDS. Host based IDS are not run on a network but instead run on an individual host or device that is on the network. Network based IDS are placed at points on a network that monitor all inbound and outbound traffic for all devices on the network.
Intrusion Detection Systems from Computer Service Now or our partners in The Tech-Army Organization are a great solution for keeping an eye on your network or individual host or device.
